Aromas of black cherry, cassis, coffee, anise, tar, and plum are woven into a lovely aromatic tapestry, with different flavors revealing themselves as the wine opens and evolves in the glass.
This first edition of curvature is a 2006 cabernet sauvignon opens with a luscious, perfumed nose, ripe with black cherry and delicate cedar overtones. Elegant and juicy on the mid-palate and bursting with flavors and blue fruit, cherry, vanilla, toasted spice and mocha.
The 2008 vintage presented perfect ripening conditions for growing exuberant, expressive red wines in Napa Valley. Fully ripe tannins and bright acidity contribute balance and structure that round out the wine.
The wine is introduced by layered aromas of ripe damson plum, black cherry, and chocolate, with nuances of star anise and saffron spice. The mouth presents more uber-ripe fruit, spice, and a lovely round texture, balanced by deep flavors and a minutes-long finish.
