The nose sings with black fruit- Blackberry, black cherry, and violets, blood orange accented by the savory cedar, forest floor, and black trumpet mushrooms. Shows the concentration and structure characteristic of the vintage with more Indian spice, anise, slate and rose petals highlighted by the brambly black fruit.
