The 2016 Kerr Pinot Noir hails from the Manzanita Vineyard in the Sonoma Coast AVA. This 2 acre vineyard was organically farmed by the incredibly talented and special Ulises Valdez. This wine has plenty of evolution, starting with a gorgeous nose of black tea, black cherry, dried rose petal, tangerine oil, and forest floor. It is beautifully perfumed, revealing lavender, plum, and a hint of oiled leather. The silky entry opens to a layered palate of sublime balance, plush tannins, and an endless finish. This is a beautiful expression of this vintage and special vineyard site.
