The 2008 vintage presented perfect ripening conditions for growing exuberant, expressive red wines in Napa Valley. On the nose, this wine expresses elegant flavors of blueberry, cassis, plum, hazelnut, kirsch and coffee, while the palate displays a supple roundness and layers of intense fruit that caress the mouth. Fully ripe tannins and bright acidity contribute balance and structure that round out the wine.

The 2008 vintage presented perfect ripening conditions for growing exuberant, expressive red wines in Napa Valley. An early bud break followed by warm, sunny weather throughout the growing season brought our grapes to the peak of ripe ness well before the cool weather of winter set in. The first grapes to be picked were the Petite Sirah, followed by the Cabernet Franc, the Malbec and finally the Cabernet Sauvignon.
